We love lemon desserts and this lemon dip is so easy to make and can be made a day ahead of time to let the flavors completely blend together.
Ingredients Needed for Lemon Cake Batter Dip
- Whipped Topping
- Lemon Cake Mix
- Cream Cheese
- Cookies & Strawberries
You may even have many of these ingredients on hand in your pantry. Use whatever fresh fruit is in season or your favorite tea cookies for dunking. We like to use Nilla Wafers and shortbread cookies for this dip as they give a good crunch.
How to Make Lemon Cake Batter Dip
- 8oz Whipped Topping
- 15oz Box Lemon Cake Mix
- 8oz Cream Cheese
- 1/4 Cup Milk
- Cookies & Strawberries (For Dunking)
- In a large mixing bowl heat the lemon cake mix for 1 minute 30 seconds in the microwave to heat treat the flour. Then combine whipped topping, cream cheese & milk with the heated lemon cake mix.
- Mix well.
- Serve with cookies & strawberries and dunk away!!
Such an easy and tasty lemon dessert, this could also be used as a no bake lemon pie as well! Simply add the filling to a graham cracker crust and refrigerate until set.
